Kimberleigh + Ben | Engagement at The Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia

Kimberleigh and Ben’s engagement session at The Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia was the perfect mix of timeless elegance and completely carefree fun — which, if you know them, makes total sense.

From the moment we met in the grand marble lobby, it felt like we were stepping into a classic movie scene. The soaring columns, glowing chandeliers, and iconic architectural details gave us the dreamiest backdrop. I’ve never stepped foot in there before (definitely had a bit of imposter syndrome happening) and was amazed by it all!

One of my favorite parts of the session? The elevator photos. We had this vision of capturing them tucked into the doorway — intimate, playful, cinematic. And when I jokingly said we might need to “pause traffic” for a second to make it happen, the Ritz staff didn’t even hesitate. They were so accommodating and genuinely excited to help us get the shot. Really appreciative of the staff for looking out for us!

What I love most about these two is how present they are with each other. There’s no overthinking. They laughed easily and their connection is evident. And I already know their wedding day is going to be something incredibly special. This summer, they’ll be having a micro-wedding at their family’s beach house, and I can’t wait to capture it!
