Step 1: Initial Consult
We will have a consultation to discuss your wedding details. (Typically about 20-30 minutes) Excited to get to know you two! This is the time that I love to hear about how you met and your love story, and about what’s coming next: your wedding day! We’ll go over details about your wedding, and I’m stoked to dream with you about what you are envisioning and what moments matter most to you. We’ll talk about your photography needs and day-of goals. All of this helps me understand how to serve you best on your wedding day. We will also go over the booking information details and how to make this thing official!
The Wedding Prep Process
Step 2: Get To Know You
We’ll spend time together for an engagement session so I can really get to know you two before the big day. (Psst - I’ll send you my engagement session guide ahead of time so you can know what to expect!) Not only does this time serve as a stepping stone to get you ready for your big day (hello save-the-dates!) and some practice in front of the camera, but it also helps me learn more about you and how to serve you even better on your wedding day. Engagement sessions are laidback and fun and a great “test drive” for the three of us. I want to show up on your wedding day as a friendly, familiar face you already know, with you two excited for round two of more laidback and stress free photo-time with me.
Step 3: Your First Day of Marriage
Oh, how beautiful your wedding day will be! And I don’t mean the dress or the flowers (although I’m sure those will be absolutely stunning!), I mean this covenant that you two are making. I am honored to capture your wedding day. I will preserve these precious memories with the utmost care, knowing how sacred this day is. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, relaxed and have fun. Your photos will feel effortless, timeless, and full of joy, and when you view your wedding gallery for years to come, it’ll take you right back to that first day of your marriage.

I believe great photography isn’t about controlling every moment, it’s about creating an environment where you feel comfortable being yourselves. From our first conversation to the final gallery, my goal is to make this experience feel easy, laidback, and supportive. My goal is to make you feel completely comfortable and confident in front of the camera, and at times even forget I’m there.
You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to show up as you are. I’ll take care of the rest.
