Sal planned the perfect surprise proposal for Elizabeth that started with a scavenger hunt around the city and ended at the Assembly Rooftop Lounge. On the rooftop, surrounded by the buzzing city life and skyline views, Sal got down on one knee and asked Elizabeth to marry him — and she said YES, of course!

After the proposal, we wandered through Center City for engagement photos, and honestly, the timing could not have been better. The city was alive. Everywhere we went, people were celebrating, cheering, and already in full Eagles mode. As we walked past strangers, Elizabeth flashing her new ring, people kept calling out, “Oh my gosh, congratulations!” Without missing a beat, Sal would respond with a confident and enthusiastic: “Go Birds!” Which, if you’re in Philadelphia the weekend the Eagles are playing in the Super Bowl, is absolutely the correct response to anything anyone says.

What made the weekend even sweeter? Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you already know that The Philadelphia Eagles played the very next day and won the Super Bowl. So not only did Sal and Elizabeth get engaged in the city they live in and love, but they did it during one of the most exciting weekends Philly has to offer!
