Jordan + Mikah | Springtime Editorial at The Overhills Mansion in Catonsville, MD
Spring unfolded beautifully at Overhills Mansion during this styled wedding editorial, designed to feel romantic, airy, and timeless. With white cherry blossom trees in full bloom across the property, the estate became the perfect backdrop for a soft, fine-art inspired vision rooted in seasonal beauty.
The cherry blossoms were truly the heart of this shoot! They were showing off for us. Branches of delicate white florals created a natural, dreamlike setting for Jordan + Mikah’s portraits. Their love was so easy to photograph. It was like an ethereal, flowery, dream! Mikah’s classic black suit anchored the look, while Jordan’s off-the-shoulder lace gown added softness and movement.
One of the most distinctive elements of this shoot was the custom hand-painted veil by Nymf by Collette. Light, ethereal, and full of delicate detail, the veil added an editorial edge and all the romantic vibes. As it floated through the spring air, it echoed the organic beauty of the blooming trees around us.
Pale blues, soft blush tones, and creamy whites were woven throughout the design—from the garden-inspired bouquet to the refined flat-lay details. The stationery and accessories complemented the overall aesthetic without overpowering it, keeping the focus on craftsmanship, texture, and restraint.
This styled shoot was created as wedding inspiration for couples drawn to timeless elegance, meaningful details, and an editorial approach to storytelling. Spring at Overhills Mansion offered a fleeting, unforgettable backdrop—and capturing it with Jordan and Mikah was the absolute best!
