Meet Me At The Creek - An Engagement & Elopement Editorial

About the shoot
Join us for something fun and a little out of the norm… a non-traditional engagement and elopement shoot!
Our engagement couple…
- will be in a casual-dressy outfit (something similar to a pale dress, khakis and a button down. No full suit or tie. Barefoot some of the time. Dressy-casual creek vibes).
- will have a blanket and a picnic basket with flowers, and small food accessories for an intimate setup for the couple to pose on, and to use the basket as a prop as well while walking, as well as two glasses and a champagne bottle to pop. (and spray, cheers, drink!)
Our elopement couple…
- will be in a somewhat casual wedding outfit such as: a more simple, whimsical white wedding gown (no train, elaborate details, no veil, etc.), dark slacks and a white button down, with a suit jacket and suspenders. Probably no tie.
- There will be a wedding bouquet for our eloped bride model, imagine a foraged wildflowers whimsical vibe.
- Similar to the the engagement picnic - The elopement decor will be more detailed than the engagement picnic display. There will be a blanket with a picnic arrangement including flowers, as well as a small wedding cake, some decor accessories, with some small food displays for an intimate setup for two people.
- There will also be two glasses and a champagne bottle to pop (and spray, cheers, drink!).
- We will have the elopement couple eat the cake together.
There’s also a possibility of either couple, or both, going further into the water at the end of shoot time (it would be towards the end so we don't have wet clothing for the dry land shots), but that’s entirely dependent on weather, temperature, and how low/high the water level is. No guarantee, but we’ll see!
I will be leading some of the time with each couple, in photography by teaching some tips and posing in a super casual, hands-on approach. If your goal is to get more comfortable behind the camera, this session is for you! If you’re excited and eager about the possibility of booking more clients for their engagement or elopement, this will be a great and fun summer evening spent boosting your confidence, portfolio, and techniques. No stress or pressure to perform for a paid client. Build your portfolio with some dreamy summer picnic engagement photos and elopement by the creek.
Unlike our usual shoots, there are no rotating stations. We will be photographing the couple together, taking turns leading and encouraging each other’s ideas and exploring the gorgeous area together.
I am keeping the amount of attendees VERY small and intimate in order to maintain an intentional environment, so it’s not overwhelming and we have tons of room to stretch out and take turns leading. I am opening this up for only FOUR photographers to join me.
The location we’ll be at is a general area where the Tohickon Creek runs, in Pipersville / Bedminster Township PA. The Stover-Myers Mill and Traugers Park are right there as well. There is a parking lot and bathroom. In addition to the creek itself, the mill is a cute backdrop as well as several wooded paths with wildflowers and Traugers Park has a dam (little waterfalls, see photos!) with the sun setting beautifully behind it. The water is not deep and there’s also spots for the couples to be positioned on the dam/waterfalling part. Will be gorgeous!
The engagement shoot will be from 5:30pm - 6:45pm.
Elopement shoot from 6:45pm - 8:15pm.
Total onsite time is 2 hours 45 minutes.
Tickets are $375, and there are only four of them.
